Today's listening

It's the Vince Guaraldiest.

It's the Vince Guaraldiest.

I've been staying up late browsing the retro Internet and listening to magical girl vaporwave lo-fi hip hop. I guess it really is summer.
(I've been listening to saturn genesis's entire discography, but this is my favorite album.)

There’s a heat wave on here, so let’s chill with some lo-fi bossa nova.

It's false spring here, so let's enjoy the warmth with some summery city pop.

意味なんて?答えじゃない

Possibly Leila Wilson's finest album yet.

Music to be reminded not to cut back on vaporwave to (lest one regret it.)

One of my favorite soundtracks of all time.

Despite the title, the John Carpenter vibes of this album make it seem a little spooky, and thus the perfect album to listen to at the cusp between summer and autumn.

NightBridge. A bridge too far...on another planet!
BRING ON THE NIGHT
There's one bridge she can't burn to escape from her past
Capel De La Sarthe has found herself in hot water more than once. From the failed colonization project on Planet Aloha, to the invasion of Agoli 5 Oasis, she hasn't gotten a chance to settle down until now.
Nightbridge seems to be a peaceful enough planet, a seat of the Federation, and a shining example of a well-populated utopia.
...at least that's how it seems. Crime is rampant on the streets and soon enough the secrets of her past are once again going to catch up with Capel. So much for settling down...

Leila Wilson (of Freedom Planet soundtrack fame) is one of those artists I keep coming back to, and this album in particular is a favorite. Especially recommended for the Sonic fans out there.
