Today's listening

It's the Vince Guaraldiest.

I've been staying up late browsing the retro Internet and listening to magical girl vaporwave lo-fi hip hop. I guess it really is summer.
(I've been listening to saturn genesis's entire discography, but this is my favorite album.)

There’s a heat wave on here, so let’s chill with some lo-fi bossa nova.

It's false spring here, so let's enjoy the warmth with some summery city pop.
I feel like often I go too long between posts here because the easiest thing for me to post is a daily Today's Listening, but I feel self-conscious about posting two music posts in a row, because I don't want to give the impression that this is primarily a music blog.
This is, of course, a silly reason not to post.
Anyway, if you want to read an actual music blog, I highly recommend Morning Music.

Possibly Leila Wilson's finest album yet.

Music to be reminded not to cut back on vaporwave to (lest one regret it.)

One of my favorite soundtracks of all time.

Despite the title, the John Carpenter vibes of this album make it seem a little spooky, and thus the perfect album to listen to at the cusp between summer and autumn.
